This is just a brief announcement. I am now semi-officially an alumni of New Mexico State University after much wailing and gnashing of teeth (I made that last bit up). At the very least, it’s been a tremendous relief.

I’d like to thank Dr. Carlo A. Mora M., Dr. Kerry Alt, and Dr. Jennifer Kreie for their support and assistance throughout what in retrospect seems like countless semesters. They each deserve an award for their efforts and remarkable abilities as instructors and teachers. Thank you all for your tireless devotion to your students.

I’d also like to send a thank you to my parents for their endless aid, love, and encouragement. Without that, I wouldn’t have made it this far. My mother was determined to see me graduate, and I hope this achievement has served well in exchange for such determination. Thank you both; I know I’ll never be able to repay such debts.

A thank you to my friends, particularly Josh, is in order. Were it not for the constant calls to check up on my progress and the relentless dragging of my hide into games like World of Warcraft, I would have lost what little sanity I had long ago.

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, I’d like to thank Chloe for her love and support. Were I without such precious gifts, the lengthy drives to Las Cruces would have seemed without end, and I would have lost hope long ago.
